RHS vs Taylorsville

The score was 55-16 we killed them! There is a really good reason I have no pics of this game. I bought a new video camera and recorded the entire thing instead. But after I got home and tried to watch the DVD, it was obvious I should have read the directions BEFORE using it cuz the footage was not very ideal! Anywho-Brody was able to play the entire game! (1st string guy was hurt last game and had to have surgery-so Brody's 1st now) He plays DL and is fabulous at it, and I'm not just saying that cuz I'm his mom. He really was good, he has worked so hard at this and I'm so proud of him! He also is excited to now have an agent -AKA- Lancer, who is going to find us/him a college and a scholarship. A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to watch & support Brody, it means alot to him and me!
Next game: Sept. 5th RHS vs Pleasant Grove @ PG 7:00pm
also Brody plays JV Sept. 4th @ RHS 3:30pm

Grandpa Bud

Goodbye to my adorable, sweet grandpa. I am so sad that I was always too busy to take Brody and Hunter up to see him. You never know how much time you have with the people you love and now saying that I was "too busy" makes me so sad and I feel like a horrible person! (especially after reading Raegie's blog) My grandparents are the most wonderful people, and I want them to know how much I love them. I will miss my grandpa very much!

Friday Night Lights

Timpanogos 10 / Riverton 16

Next game is Aug. 29th:
RHS vs Taylorsville @ RHS 7:00pm

Brody is #74, if you can't tell by the sexy behind.
I must admit, I hate this time of year-Brody has Football and Hunter starts Lacrosse. It would be fabulous if there were two of me(not weight wise) but trying to find rides is a nitemare! I can't wait till the old license is obtained! A BIG thanks to everyone who helps me transfer these two and a thanks to all of you who aren't aware that you'll be asked soon for your help! GO SILVERWOLVES!!!!!!

7th Grade

(yes he did his own hair)
Today was Hunter's first day in Jr. high, they have the 7th graders go for half a day to get them prepared and give them a chance to find their classes. Which I think is nice-but Hunter said it was a very boring day. And he also informed me that the rooms were numbered (duh!) so why wouldn't people be able to find their classes? Not everyone is as smart as my Hunter!!!

Utah Lake

Thanks to Lance and Raeg for buying the wave runners and letting Brody and Hunter join in the fun!

PARTY

Look at those tiny things

One little Two little Three little Indians

We had Brody's party at WJ outdoor pool on Saturday. I left the inviting up to Brody which was a huge mistake! I had so many treats and drinks left over-after giving a ton away we still have a bunch at my house. (well the sugar cookies I did keep for myself)
We had so much fun, I think the bellyflop contest was the best! Poor Brayden!
Thank you to everyone that came!

Macho, macho man!

Look at his little face, he looks like someone ask for that cookie back. Hmmm

Good thing there was basketball, thats all the boys did!

She loved the frog cookies the best

Better late than never!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at him trying to be cool-haha. Peace out!

Brody #74

RHS First Game:
Aug. 22 Timpanogos@ RHS 7:00 pm

It's Football Season!!!!!!!
This was a Black and White game Brody had on Friday. They split up the Varsity and had them play each other-I guess they are just trying to get some injuries in before the actual games start. So far my kid has a hand someone stepped on, a bad shoulder, and a hurt back. Hope he makes it to a real game!

The Big *16*

Oh how time flies! I can't believe that my little Brody is sixteen. As I am sitting here doing this blog, I am so emotional and so sad that in two years he'll be done with high school and off to college (hopefully). You are a wonderful, perfect son, you mean the whole world to me. I am so proud of you and the man you have grown to be. You are always trying to please me and everyone else and you are a great example to Hunter. I love you more than anything! Happy Birthday!

Thanks Grandma Coe for being so thoughtful and decorating the front yard! And thanks for Cafe Rio-it wasn't on the diet but fabulous!

Sweet old Spencer and his mom showed up with a cake he made for Brody, what a nice surprise (for Brody)

Happy Anniversary

Lance and Raegan's anniversary is on the 12th, CONGRATS!!! and I wanted to post a picture of my gift for Raegan. (it's really for Lance) I know she's going to kill me, but hello Raegan-we all know what married people do when they get a chance to be alone! Just remember to wear the stripper boots-they complete the outfit! Luv u!

Immune and Ready to Go

Who new that kids had to have another set of shots?
I guess now before you enter 7th grade you have to get a DPT booster and have 2 Varicella. (what a crock!)
I hate shots, and I was definetly more nervous for Hunter than he was! He didn't even flinch-like getting poked was natural (he's so tough)

The best part was the doctor decided to give him a physical while we were there since he would be playing jr high basketball and I didn't really have time to warn him about the whole hernia exam thing. Needless to say-he didn't flinch either, like that was just a normal part of his day. Sorry Hunt!
