GNO/G-dog's bday

The night started out with our/Jess's very favorite thing-sugar cookies. Sweet little Gaylynn got them for Jessica to "cheer her up"

Then we went to my favorite place-the Oyster bar. Jessica and Amy's new "stalker" aka Carlos

While Gaylynn went home to take care of Brinley, we partied at Amy's and then went to Club Allure.

When we got to the club, Jessica wanted to sleep in the car, Amy stayed and watched Jessica, me, Gaylynn, Adriana, and Farnsworth wanted to burn off some calories.

We ended the night with Gaylynn taking everyone home (Big Thanks!)
We/I had tons of fun, Jessica was still asleep, and someone had a little surprise in their purse!

RHS vs WJ

oh ya-we won!!! Brody got to play Linebacker instead of DL and he was so excited.

Next game: Oct. 10th @ 7:00pm RHS vs Bingham at RHS

More Hunter

A look back on thirteen wonderful years.......................

Sorry the pics are not so good. There was no digital technology back then and I have no scanner.

Where does the time go?
If you know me or if you can add and subract-I have been a mother since I was 17 (most of my life so far). Now I would NEVER suggest to anyone to start a family that soon, but for me I wouldn't change anything! Most of my life so far, has revolved around being a mother. And going through old pictures of these guys makes me cry-I kid you not-I cry because they grow up so quickly. You hear old people say that all the time and it's true, I rarely can recall what my boys were or looked like when they were little. My whole enjoyment in life comes from being their mom, these two are my whole world, without them I am nothing. They have me laughing everyday, they teach me what is REALLY important in life, and have made me a better person. ( you may think I'm crazy and I need to take my meds right about now, but wait till your kids get this age and then tell me if you don't feel the same) Lately it has been such a struggle for me, dealing with being a single parent and having Brody at the age of dating and wondering why the hell God gave teenagers hormones-those should really kick in at an appropriate age like 25. I was always trying to get them to grow up when they were little-now I can't stop them from getting older! Ahhhhhh!!!! I just keep telling them and myself that they can just live at home forever, people do it all the time. Now after reading this, I really should go take my meds!

I have TWO teenagers

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNTER Hunter and Brody are enjoying Hunter's Bday present

Hunter has turned 13!!! Good hell I'm old! We had everyone come over for cake and ice cream to celebrate the passing of my youth...Um, I mean Hunter's youth

Another Lacrosse Weekend

This is funny, on the way home from Lacrosse we went to Target. And we happen to drive past this car-and of coarse the boys were drooling! And since I'm supermom and had the camera I was able to take a pic. The funny part of this story is Hunter has been wearing his cup for a few hours now and could barely walk in this picture. Can you guess what kind of car this is???
Hunter had two games today, he played Judge and Alta and won both!

RHS vs Copperhills

The Varsity game, the score was 25 to 19? We won-that's all I care about.

The JV game we also won, 56 to 0! no joke

Next Game: Oct 2nd RHS vs West Jordan @ RHS 7:oopm
JV game: Oct 1st 3:30 @ WJ

I'm sorry to do this, but I'm irate!

Let me just give you a little insight to the messed up workings of the COE Family:

As you may know Brody received a car from my parents for his 16th bday, which was the sweetest, nicest thing ever!
With that said today I received a call from my dear father who wanted the car back because Josh needs it because he can't afford gas in his truck and can't afford gas in his Hummer either. Now normally I really wouldn't mind but Josh has a $800,000 house he is living in that J & M built, plus he has a brand new Hummer that J & M bought, plus a work truck that J & M bought also. And the guy always claims poverty and on top of that his wife could get a job if they're soooo poor-or maybe get rid of the house and cars they can't afford! ( I did suggest a trade-the Hummer for the Stealth, because I CAN afford the gas. But in the words of old Mike "what would Sara drive?")
Now I do love my brother/brothers so I don't believe this is entirely there fault that they have all been babied there entire lives-but maybe if I, a single mother of two-that rarely asks for any help and rarely gets child support, can pay for everything (including gas) herself, then other two parent households should be able to handle it without taking a 16yr olds new car!
So the lesson we should all learn from this is: if you don't have any money then get a job. If you can't afford the material things you have-sell and downsize. and as parents it is good to help your kids and bail them out occationally-however you don't do it so often that they can't take care of themselves!!!!!
