We love Aunt Darcy!!!!

Once a month we sucker cute little Darcy into cutting the boys hair. It's a tough job because not only do they not comb their hair, they don't wash it either. YUCK! They look so much better with it cut and combed! If you see them, please let them know so they might continue the tradition. (they think I'm a nag, and that bathing means your high maintenance) We love Aunt Darcy, she does all my friends and family, and she does an awesome job! We all look fabulous-now.

Grandma's #1 Fan

I have come to realize why Raegan is my moms favorite-it isn't Raegan she likes at all, it's this cute little indian! When we sat down at the table Ellie said to me "Hey, I love Grandma!" and "You can love Brody and Hunter!" She IS the cutest!
Sorry Brody and Hunter, you've been replaced!

More Football

Brody had his football banquet on Monday night, and as soon as we walked in the door he took off making his rounds around the room socializing with everyone! (I don't know where he gets it from). Anyhow it was so much fun to see him walk up to the front when they called his name and as they talked about him and how he was unable to play until 1st quarter grades came out, how he was at every practice regardless working his butt off so he could prove to them he really DID want this, I found myself overwhelmed with pride and tears. How very proud of him I am, he has had alot of drama in his little life and he has always been such a great example for me and his little brother. He still struggles at times thats why I , and my mother aka" homework police"are here to keep him in check. And with everything our family has had to deal with I celebrate every little accomplishment my kids have! Because my biggest fear in life is that I haven't done a good job or enough for them and that they will not succeed in life and I will be responsible for that and a failure as a mom. And I can't have that! Anywhoo-BRODY, I LOVE YOU! And I am very proud of you!

Happy Birthday Jessica!!!!!!!

It was Jessica's Bday on Nov. 24th, but we celebrated it on Saturday.(we're all soooo busy)
She doesn't look a day over 21, and my dad always states he can't believe she's single. Settle down Big Mike- you are taken! The adults and baby went out to eat, while the kids played Xbox back at my house. After dinner we went back to the house for games and caramel popcorn (jess's favorite). I have been making it for her non- stop to fatten her up! Don't tell her. After all that fun and a little breast pump bet, everyone went home. And I'd like to say I am not a bit sore and I don't know what the big fuss is about-Gaylynn is a wuss.

It's Bball time

Hunter had his first superleague game on Saturday. We almost didn't make it there because of all the snow and my lack of four wheel drive. But he did and he played awesome, he was shooting foul shots most of the game, he has finally realized when he is under the basket with the ball all he has to do is act like he's going to shoot it and someone hits him everytime, drawing a foul. Other than a lost eye and some bruising-this game is easy! Hunter and his best friend Miller scored all the 23 points, thank heavens we aren't on a crap team this year!

Semi-Formal ?????

When you invite teenage boys to a party and tell them it's Semi-Formal you cannot expect them to have a clue to what that means! Brody's friend Ashley had her Sweet 16 and me and Jessica spent hours shopping for the boys and I think we did a pretty good job! Damn my kid is a cutie!! Can you believe these two handsome men have been friends since they were little babies-boy how time flies.
( Don't worry people, they both like girls)

O Christmas Tree

So I finally broke down and decided to get a fake tree. I know, I know, it's just not the same. And you are correct it doesn't smell as good, the kids miss out on traveling to five different tree lots in 20 degree weather to find the "perfect" one, we don't have to beg old Mike to borrow his truck, and Brody will miss tying it down, hauling it around, cutting off the bottom, and watering it twice a day. I really do feel bad about taking all that away-but I think we'll live.

I love it! It looks FABULOUS!
