Game room

When I came home the other day from work, Hunter informed me he has a new game room now. I opened up Brody's door and found that Hunter had brought from downstairs his gaming chair and the Xbox. Apparently Hunter thought Brody wasn't coming back and if he did by chance he could "sleep downstairs". I don't know if Hunter realizes that Brody still has a room here or that he could kick his ass-he outweighs Hunter by 100lbs of solid muscle! I decided not to tell Brody about the game room so it will be a BIG surprise when he comes home this weekend. And I also decided NOT to tell Hunter that Brody was coming home this weekend. Hahaha-this weekend should be very exciting!

Off to College

I was up all night making sure he had everything, then I got up bright and early and apparently he really wasn't too excited to get up and leave. (It took me 30 min. to wake him-he doesn't want to leave his "soulmate" that one was for you Raeg)

Because I'm the Christ like gal everyone knows and loves-I allowed Spencer to come because my sweet little Brody wanted him too. I gave him a few rules but I should have included the rule "no shirt, no shoes, no service" at least Brody didn't have to drive alone.

My sweet mom drove with me in the truck (thank u mom) and Brody followed us-hopefully he was paying attention. He will be driving it alot!

I can't believe how cute he is!

College life looks like so much fun-I can't believe I missed out on all this, I guess there is always next semester!

I can't believe how fast this has come, Hunter yelling at the Xbox all alone just isn't the same right now! I already miss you a TON and I love you sooooo much!

It's official-He's LEGAL

My little Brody is 18! I cannot believe how fast he has grown up (and how old I am) on Friday we had his party and on Saturday we went to Leatherby's with my family. Its so sad how much you want them to grow up when they are little and annoying and soooo much work-and then it happens and now all I want to do is go back and have him little again. This time I would enjoy it, not be so worried about the little things, not work so much, and pay more attention to all the cute little things he does and says.

Hunter asked me what is so great about 18? You can't do anything different can u? I had to think for a moment-You can vote , you can move out and be an adult, you can get arrested. (yes-I said arrested which I have NEVER been by the way) really thats about it I guess to which Hunter replied "what is so great about being arrested and going to the real jail?" Good point Hunter, Turning 18 is not that great (don't tell Brody)

Football Season

So Hunter finally decided at the LAST minute that he would play Ute football (even though we had to play for Herriman instead of Riverton) He is lucky I didn't have to pay the $95.00 late fee on top of the $225.00 because we would be doing something else! I thought this was pretty adorable, It's Dereck, Skyler,Tyler and Brody. They watched the whole practice and Brody commented on EVERY play, catch, fumble, tackle. It was just killing him to stand there and just watch!

All the equipment is new which is a plus, and the colors are Maroon, Navy blue, and Gold. They look good but I still love purple more!

Hunter thought it was so dumb for us to come watch and take pics-he let me know it was "just practice". Obviously he doesn't know me very well.

Lava Hot Springs

This was are first time there and both of the boys were like "what the hell" and "what are we going there for?"
But I'll have you know after going down the river twice and 8 bumps/bruises and 3 cuts later they had a blast! They loved it and I loved it, I thought it was the cutest little town. After our many injuries we took it easy on Sunday and went to the waterpark (where the were serving the sacrament-very enjoyable fast Sunday) a few hours sunburning and then we headed home.
It was a quick, nice, not to far or expensive little getaway-I highly reccomend it! (sorry no pics of the river, next time waterproof camera and watersocks)
