More gifts, I love birthdays

We all went to Kyoto for lunch YUMMMMM! This lovely picture is what I had for lunch, yes it was alot of food-but I'm not on a diet (clearly obvious) and I was very hungry!

This is Dr. Kenn, he works across the hall from us. And this is Iris, aka Happy Honduran, she is the assistant at my office.

You already know who these two sexy bitches are!

After lunch we had to return to work-gag- It was our 9 to 9 day. However our only way to stick it out was knowing there was cheescake there just waiting for us to inhale. ( Iris made it, she is fabulous!)

I am documenting my first day being 33. It's hell getting old!

We ended the day going to Leatherby's (yes-more calories, SHUT UP!) my mom, raeg and kids, matt,lisa and jace were all there. For those family members who chose not to attend, you can make it up to me later, I deeply missed you and wished you were there! (Raeg took pics of leatherby's, surely to be posted soon) For those others THANK YOU! Thank You to my family and friends who called and bugged me all day at work wishing me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. LUV U !

Just a side note: Girl's Night Out for my bday is this Saturday, so there will be some fabulous, juicy pics and details to come. Stay tuned........

It's * MY * Birthday

Now for all of you who do know me, my bday isn't until the 27th (make note of it). However Bret planned my bday outing for saturday, which is fine with me! I love Birthdays! This is me documenting my final days as a 32 yr old.

Bret planned all of this without me knowing (I love surprises) We went to Midway, to the Blue Boar Inn. I love Midway, it is so beautiful there. The restaurant is a five star one***** and it was the best food ever!! (and me and Bret would know)

Clearly he was trying to get me drunk to take advantage of me. He is so tired of me playing hard to get!

He is doing a fabulous job of being the DD, some of these pictures are fuzzy because we took them on my phone-I forgot my camera. IDIOT!

After dinner, drinks, and a drive.....no mom and dad and raegan we didn't sleepover. Hello- I'm not that easy, and I only had three drinks! Geez!

Next was presents! I love Bret's gifts, he always plans these speeches with numerous gifts and cards. (We have the same sense of humor so of coarse he is hilarious) There were four sacks, four cards,four gifts.

The first bag had some gag/naughty gifts we won't go into.

The next bag had my favorite lotions and bath gels from bath & body works (which by the way, he states everyone at that stores thinks he is gay now)

The next bag which is clearly obvious what it is (especially if you don't wear garments and have to actually buy bras and underwear) was from Victorias Secret MY FAV! Inside was my favorite perfume.

Now with each of these gifts was also a different card, cleverly written in with jokes and phrases.

After all that I really wasn't expecting anything else, but then the last gift was a gift certificate to our favorite spa. It's for a day spa package of my choice! Can you believe that! Maybe some of you are used to this kind of treatment, but not I. This was the best birthday ever, I am so lucky to have someone so thoughtful and wonderful-because damnit I am worthit!

I love his pink shirt! Real men wear pink, or gay men. haha j/k

Then usually on Sundays we go walking on the Jordan River Parkway. This is usually my favorite part of being with him, we spend hours walking and talking. And it's exercise without the treadmill involved. This is not the most flatering picture but I thought it was cute. I wish I had a full body shot because I usually wear non matching workout clothes. (who cares right?) WRONG- Bret has his shirt matching his shorts, matching his socks, which match his shoes! I kidd you not! (I can't imagine why people think he might be gay)
